It was several years ago, 5 miles offshore in the Atlantic. After losing yet another large dolphin because of a bad lure, Pete turned to Mike and said: "Mike, how can we assure that we will bring in that trophy fish once it is hooked?" Mike's response was simple, yet brilliant: "Let's make our own, Pete". Out of that, BigBite Offshore was born. We are a company which strives for perfection. Mike Boyer has been fishing all of his life. Whether on the west coast of Florida, east coast of Florida, or in the islands of the Bahamas, you can bet that Mike has explored every fishing opportunity the region has to provide. Mike's passion for fishing has taken him many places in the world, and has allowed him to observe many different techniques. He currently calls South Florida his home, and predominantly fishes the Atlantic waters of Florida Keys & Bahamas, as well as the Gulf of Mexico.
Pete was born on the south side of Chicago. One trip to south Florida forever changed his life. As a young man, Pete felt the sub-tropical climate of South Florida calling his name and he decided to call the warm waters of the Atlantic his home. For the last 15 years Pete has been honing his fishing skills and proves to be an invaluable asset to the BigBite Offshore organization.
